Alpiq installs new network control station for gas network operator in Lower Saxony
Alpiq Prozessautomation AG designed and installed a new network control station for Gastransport Nord GmbH (GTG) in Oldenburg in the north of Germany. It was able to be put into operation three weeks in advance of the agreed date – without any impact on ongoing operations.

HACO AG relies on automation – and on Alpiq Prozessautomation AG
HACO AG is a leading Swiss food production company with more than 800 employees around the world. At its Gümligen location, the company operates a dry-blending plant for soups and sauces. The plant is programmed with 300 recipes and can mix around 20 tonnes of ingredients a day. Its customers include well-known wholesalers such as Migros, as well as large-scale consumers and industrial customers. When it comes to the production of its approximately 1000 products, HACO relies on automation in order to ensure a consistently high product quality at all times.
Refuse incineration plant commissioned in Tessin
The assembly work for the new refuse incineration plant at Giubiasco in the Swiss canton of Tessin has been completed. Alpiq participated in the construction through its subsidiaries Kraftanlagen München (KAM) in Germany and Alpiq InTec Ticino SA in Tessin.
Atel strengthens its industrial automation activities
Atel Installationstechnik AG, Zürich, is taking over Indumo AG in Buchs (AG) with its 50 employees effective 31 December 2005. This acquisition strengthens Atel’s industrial automation activities.
